When he was invited to a Masquerade ball, he expected…more; however, that could be because his expectations are too high nowadays. Oh well, at least no one knew who he was or what he’s done. Perfect way to pry information out of people without suspicion, but he rather not have idle chatter with the weak-minded who couldn’t see that their precious Gods cared little about them.

He eventually picked up his feet to go get another drink when he picked up on the sound of a piano, giving the party a background ambiance. Normally he wouldn’t bother himself with something as trivial as music, but since this was a Masquerade, he might as well meet the skilled pianist. As he got himself another drink, he got a second one to give the pianist as he made his way to the grand piano after a bunch of careful weaving and occasional—or purposeful—bumping into the other guests.

Your fingers gracefully glided along the black and white keys of the piano, providing the ball with an ambiance so it wasn’t completely silent. Your Pyro Vision glinted under the moonlight that entered from the window directly beside the grand piano, providing a natural spotlight for you. Small flaming notes circled you as the melody carried on, continuing to play for a crowd that wasn’t paying you any mind: it was a gig anyway. A Snezhnayan noble approached you and offered a generous amount of Mora if you played at the Masquerade they were hosting.

As you ended the song, you took your hands off the keyboard to adjust your Masquerade mask. When you heard the sound of a glass being set down on the piano, you looked to see a man with a partially obscured face.

“I assume it was you who was playing the piano?” He inquired with a grin.
