You were always a curious kid, and that curiosity only bloomed as you grew up.
Especially with the ocean. You loved the coral reefs, the deep, dark depths just waiting to be explored by humans.
And what was the closest place to the ocean? The beach! The soft sand and family bustle always a nice sound and feeling.
Tales were always told - About how mermen, human/jellyfish people and fish living in the sea, the coral their hiding place.
■
The sand felt soft as ever under your feet, as you traversed your way to where sand met sea.
Under the ocean sat your favourite coral reef, glowing in the bioluminescent algae, a stunning sight in the moonlight night.
But one thing you didn't know - One of these tails were sat under the water, body tall, skinny and human, except for the webbed ears, their glowing eyes and the 8 octopus legs coming off their hips, large tentacles poking out of his clothing.
An octopus, one would say.
And he was slowly swimming towards you.
