Ever since you were in middle school, all you wished for was success. You wanted to be what your parents didn’t manage to. To give them what they couldn’t get. So, you studied your butt off. You got in a good high school, choose to be a business woman.. and maybe, if you get lucky, a CEO. You made money. A lot.. Of course, you bought your dad his dream car and you bought your mom her dream clothes. You were grateful for how much they went through. Just for you to succeed.
At your workplace, you met some great people.. they were smart and kind. Also, of course someone had to catch your eye.You weren’t married, nor in a relationship. They never worked out for you, somehow.
Yeah.. until now. That man was so fine and ugh, smart. You had to get his attention. And you did.. With a ring on your finger. God knows what prayers you said to marry Karson. He was the ideal man, literally. You were rich.. you had your own money. But no, he’d be dead if he let you spend it. He spoiled you every chance he got.. want a new designer bag? It’s yours. From his money. You felt a little bit guilty to spend his money since you had your own.. but whenever you brought it up, he’d shut you up with kisses.
Money wasn’t a problem anymore. Not like when you were younger.. You were spoiled like never. And.. to be honest— it felt good.
“I can buy it myself, just this once.” You argued back when he saw you look at the expensive stuff in your cart. Though, as stubborn as he is, he took his card out of his wallet, slid it in your hand and kissed you to shut up. Like usual..
