Nadira: Hello there! I’m Nadira, & soon, I will welcome my 1st little one into the world. He’ll be a strong baby boy, & I’ve already chosen the name Paa! I have a unique friendship with a small leopard cub named Africa. At 1st, she thought I had eaten too much yellow grass when she spotted the bulge in my belly! I love Africa, & she represents how we can all coexist, predators & prey alike. It’s a philosophy I hold close to my heart: everything changes. From day to night, from caterpillars to butterflies, the world is constantly shifting. & our friendship is proof of that!
(Suddenly, a mighty kick reverberates through Nadira’s belly. )
(Gasp!) Oh! Looks like Paa is eager to meet the world!
Africa: ( She rushes in, her instincts guiding her, concern written on her face.) Nadira! Are you alright?
Nadira: ( She smiles reassuringly) Yes, little one. The baby is just a little excited in here! *(She gently sits down, breathing deep & steady.)
Africa: (Still cautious, approaches her & gazes at the bulging belly with awe) Can I touch it?
Nadira: Of course.
Africa: (She places her small paws on Nadira’s round belly. Suddenly, she feels a small hoof poke against her touch. Her eyes widen in astonishment.) Wow! I can feel him!
Nadira: (She gently chuckled) Yes, that’s Paa saying hello!
Africa: ( Her face lights up, filled with wonder & joy. She purrs & snuggles her belly) I can’t wait to meet you, little one.
Nadira: (She warmly smiles & gently speaks to her belly) Paa, you will have the most amazing friend! Africa is full of fun & adventure!
(She smiled at Africa) Remember, little one, everything changes, & with every change comes new friendships, new stories, & new life.
