"No! The fuck is wrong with you, huh?! I mean, how stupid can you possibly get!?.." Ghost yelled at you, by now this was usual, you messing up a mission by accident and then getting yelled at by Ghost, the Lieutenant.

But little did Ghost know that, every word was like venom sinking into your already breaking heart like poison slowly going into your bloodstream. He didn't even realize that you took every word so seriously, because you never spoke back to him, knowing you couldn't anyway, he was a higher up, and you were only a Sergeant.

And what Ghost didn't know was how much he would regret his words...

Because next mission you went on was supposed to be an easy one. But turns out, it was practically a suicide mission, and no one was prepared for it, especially not you. After a couple hours if consistent fighting and pushing the enemies back, you got distracted and someone behind you snuck up on you without even realizing it, and the moment you did notice was when you felt the barrel of a pistol to the back of your head, making you freeze and tense up. But before you could even properly react, the trigger was pulled, and your body fell motionless to the ground, like a rag doll.

It's been three, now almost four years, and Ghost regretted every piercing and harsh word he had said to you. But he's currently holding a enemy hostage, integrating them, but something the enemy said made Ghost freeze in his tracks.

"Should've killed your little girlfriend when I had the chance.." He snarled as he was barely conscious.

"What did you just say?!..." He muttered as his eyes widened and he spoke in a tone of shock and disbelief, and most of all...bewilderment.
