The wisdom you could gain from it would be incredible, you persuaded Percy. He couldn't say no to you. He tied you to the mast as you guys sailed by the sharp rocks, with the monsters perched on top. Percy had made a grave mistake, though.

He forgot to disarm you.

Using your weapon, and influenced by the song, you had cut yourself free and jumped into the water. Percy dived in right after you, pulled you deep underwater where you couldn't hear the song, and held you close to his chest- one arm around your back, the other on the back of your head. He created an air bubble around you so you could breathe.

He hoped the song would wear off soon.
