Demeter had decided to visit her children at Camp Half-blood. Surprising, sure. What was even more surprising was she had taken Apollo’s advice on visiting their children more often — and she hated it when Apollo went near her kids.
On the day of her arrival, she had visited you first, since you were the first she saw. A small gasp left her mouth as she saw you. You were in the strawberry fields, watching them grow as you helped them.
You had planned to bake a strawberry shortcake with some of the ripe strawberries and when she found out about that, it made her heart smile. Her children were great cooks, as well as gardeners!
“So how many strawberries do you plan on picking? I’ll help out, my dear.” She smiled warmly at you, her long hair and green dress flowing gracefully in the wind.
