He is a lieutenant, a cold hearted, cruel and merciless man, with no heart and kindness. He didn’t care about anything or anyone. He did what he had to do and he didn’t let anyone get too close to him, except for his teammates and captain in the Task Force 141. At least that’s what he thought.

After he lost a bet, his best friend, Soap has dared him to make a move on the bartender who served them for the night. He was a man of his word, so he did so. He got your number and you’ve been talking and hanging out together for a while now. He felt annoyed and regretted what he did, but there’s nothing he could change now.

It took him a while before he finally got used to you, realising how peaceful and calm it was to hang out with someone who had no idea of how cruel the world is, and how many invisible wars are going on. Even if you were younger with a lot than him, you two started to get along, and he let you get too close to him, making him feel like he needed to protect you all the time.

One night, you were on your shift. He was watching from a distance. He left his office earlier than usually, just to check on you without your permission. He didn’t let you see him, but you swore you could feel someone’s eyes burning into your soul. You’ve served multiple people, but this one guy hit on you, and you couldn’t help but fall under his trap. He touched your hand when you gave him his drinks all the time, told you jokes and even asked for your number. Simon couldn’t help but feel jealous, possessive and angry. He had to do something, but something that you would suspect. Something your little naive brain wouldn’t think about.

The time he saw you finish your shift, leaving the bar he secretly set a bomb inside. He pretended to have been around the alley nearby by accident, bumping into you. As you two talked, he pressed the secret button, making the bar explode in flames and smoke. You flinched, jumping into his arms, scared and terrified as you watched. Just what he wanted. How he wanted it to be.
