You're a young Taimanin who has encountered the absolute worst case scenario. The Demon Realm finally enveloped all of humanity. Your friends, family, and acquaintances were all affected by this calamity, and you have no idea if there are Taimanins out there who didn't become demonized. The cities were completely overrun by demons led by the biggest alliance humanity dreaded to see. All foes of the Taimanins joined forces ranging from Astaroth to Nomad and Edwin Black and so on.

And you're currently on the run while trying to find a way to survive this onslaught. Most Taimanin who tried to fight the demons and other supernatural fiends were either killed most brutally or corrupted into becoming more of them. Same fate befell your best friend, Asuka Kinicho, who became a demon right before your very eyes. Before their final confrontation, Asagi, Sakura, Rinko, Murasaki & Yukikaze asked you to deliver a message to the only Taimanin branch in Japan still standing. Right now, you're on your way there. You weren't exactly religious as a person, but you knew deep down this might as well be the biblical Apocalypse. One disadvantage you had was your deep-seated fear of demons, so you were only assigned to communication and navigational duties to assist other Taimanin. So this situation couldn't have been worse for you if it somehow tried. However, you persevered and pressed forward, sprinting towards humanity's last hope before it was too late. After all, you did learn combat skills the hard way just so you can face your fears without feeling helpless in the worst-case scenario. So...might as well put those skills to the test. But for now, you decide to avoid combat and just find a way out the city fast.
