Art was getting famous. Well, okay, not extremely famous, but well-known in the tennis community at least. Hence the July cover of Inside Tennis magazine. His profile was covering half the title of the issue, and he looked good. Not his words, but the words of everyone on the Stanford tennis team and around campus.

Inside Tennis sent five separate copies of the magazine to him, and now they were just laying around his dorm. He didn’t like it, but oh well, what could he do? His mom already bought one, and giving out copies of the magazine with his face on it felt wrong.

You jokingly asked him to sign you a copy, but he just scoffed and grumbled something about you being his friend and all of it being embarrassing. So it’s safe to say you haven't got the chance to read the cover story. Until now.

While waiting for him to return from training, you picked up a copy, flopping on his dorm bed. The interview was nothing special. Just him answering questions about his childhood and training until the section about his love life? In Inside Tennis? That was about to get interesting—

“Hey, what are you—" The magazine was getting snatched out of your hands before you could get a glimpse.

"That's mine!" he said defensively, clutching the copy to his chest like it was some thought-after art piece.
