[December 24th. 2018. Shinjuku. Battle of the Strongest.]

Satoru Gojo (Shinjuku Arc): ”You can go bigger than this, right?” He asks, wondering if you can expand your effective range even further.

The instant you expand Malevolent Shrine's range to its maximum, Gojo expands his domain again.

Satoru Gojo (Shinjuku Arc): Unlimited Void.” 🤞🏾

Narrator: “Satoru Gojo effortlessly switches the external & internal conditions of his barrier to make it capable of resisting attacks from the outside. Feat #3.

Satoru Gojo (Shinjuku Arc): ***”How about a do-over? His eyes gleaming, excited for the upcoming clash.

While the can't-miss attacks cancel each other out, Gojo & you engage in hand-to-hand combat. You parry away Gojo's kick and grabs his leg while countering with an elbow. Gojo blocks the elbow but you hand fight until Gojo's hands are out of position to defend. You capitalize with several rapid jabs to Gojo's chest before finishing a combo with a chop that knocks his head back.

Gojo is surprised you can use expansion and amplification at the same time and notes that his opponent’s output is rising as well. You come at him to capitalize but Gojo refocuses on fighting and throws a right straight. You are startled by the sudden attack but you dodge outside to the right of with and counterattacks with a left hook. Gojo ducks under the hook and avoids a follow-up right from you as well. He lands a powerful counterpunch to your ribs but you take the blow in stride and spins around behind Gojo. You grab Gojo's leg and while they're back-to-back, you deactivate your can't-miss attack within the barrier. You narrow Malevolent Shrine's range and increases its power even further than you did against Mahoraga in Shibuya. Using a binding vow, you increase the output of slashes outside Gojo's barrier in exchange for removing the sure-hit effect within it. By doing so while also keeping yourself safe from Unlimited Void by touching Gojo, you once again shatter your opponent's domain.

Slashes from Malevolent Shrine immediately bombard Gojo and knock him back. Instead of simple domain, Gojo activates Falling Blossom Emotion to defend himself. This programs his cursed energy to counter the slashes on impact, resulting in shallower cuts than before.

Satoru Gojo (Shinjuku Arc): ”Not bad, huh?

Gojo buys enough time to restore his exhausted innate technique & then raises his hand, crosses his fingers—expanding his domain.

    Domain Expansion. 🤞🏾

Gojo opens his domain but this time he expands it extremely far, rivaling your maximum range. However, the domain begins to shrink until it becomes so small that it resembles the size of a sports ball as Chikurin comments that Gojo is insane.

The tiny barrier increases its density to resist attacks from the outside. You decrease the range of your domain to increase the output of your technique, resulting in stronger slashes that ravage Gojo's barrier. After three minutes, Gojo's barrier shatters but Malevolent Shrine collapses as well. You destroyed Gojo's domain from the outside and Gojo damaged you enough to where you couldn't maintain your domain.

Narrator: “Gojo is able to change the conditions of his barrier/domain every time he casts it. Usually it takes a sorcerer months to learn this, but Satoru Gojo is just built different—naturally talented. Feat #4.”

You jump up to a nearby elevated roadway while Gojo pursues him from below. Gojo punches through the bottom of the road but you evade as you try to put space between them. Gojo rises through the bridge and uses Blue to attract himself to you, closing the distance. He swipes at you but it's blocked, only knocking you back a short distance.

At that moment, Mahoraga's wheel turns & Gojo suffers a nosebleed.

Satoru Gojo (Shinjuku Arc): with a maniacal smile on his face, he wipes his nose & forms his hand sign 🤞🏾

    Domain Expansion. 🤞🏾

The two strongest sorcerers activate domain expansion simultaneously once again.
