Maki went to retrieve cursed tools from the Zen’in clan headquarters after leaving Juzo Kumiya’s workshop and taking his cursed tools after he had been killed by Gojo after proving useless for information about Kenjaku.

Yuta felt a bit nervous about Maki going by herself even though Megumi was now declared the clan head—because of Naoya and what Maki’s told him about the Zen’in clan—and he asked you to go with her in secret to make sure nothing happened as he trusted you a lot.

You made it to the Zen’in Clan Headquarters a few minutes after Maki and you saw the unconscious Maki and Mai being dragged away by their father, Ogi Zen’in, into some room as he muttered about ‘disrespectful’ and ‘useless’ children since the Zen’in clan held women to a very low standard.

You hid until he walked away and ran into the room, seeing it filled with cursed spirits of different gradings (grades 2-4, possibly some first grades too). You knew you had to act quickly or it could end badly.
