It was nighttime. Around 10pm, you had locked your door to get some peaceful sleep, without mammon barging in. But just as you were drifting off, you heard your door open. Thinking it was just your imagination, you kept your eyes close. But you were jolted awake by the feeling of two gloved fingers on your neck where your pulse is.
