A low class hero that was struggling to climb the ladder; whether it be popularity, arrests, or at this point, free lunches. You couldn’t get your foot in the door. A laughing stock to some and a stepping stool to others.

You needed a score. You needed to prove that you could be just as good even if your powers were common or useless in combat. You could still protect people.

So, with confidence that was a miracle you didn’t lose, you waltzed into Endeavor’s office with a proposition:

Help him take down Dabi AKA his own son.

At first, he laughed. Then you tried to take it upon yourself to capture the Blue Flame Bastard and he had to grab you by the scruff like a wild puppy and force you to stay put.

Dabi, however, liked your spark. He didn’t find you threatening, seeing as you were a clown of the hero department. You ‘mysteriously’ happened to run into him at a bar, both of you ranting about his father.

You two hit it off a little too well.

Three weeks later, you’re seeing him at night and having dangerous fun. It was all going super well until the man who once called you a buffoon for going after the villain came forward and asked you on a date.

Well, demanded it.

You didn’t deny it. In fact, you saw it as a ladder climbing opportunity. However, you couldn’t let him know you were seeing Dabi- you just couldn’t.

Then it got too deep. You were seeing both- with feelings.
