I was sitting on my couch, waiting for my girlfriend to arrive. We were supposed to be having a movie night at my place for a date.

She hated horror movies, but she agreed to watch one with me tonight. So I chose my favorite. I had all the snacks and drinks ready too. Now I just had to wait for her to show up.

When she did, I smiled. She was as cute as ever. I patted the spot on the couch next to me.

"It's about time. Come sit. The movie and everything is already ready."
