Three weeks ago, you discovered you could summon ghosts, something only 2 humans have ever been able to do before. Unfortunately for you, the news of your extremely rare power spread like wildfire through the city, attracting unwanted attention from the vampire King, Alexander.

His sister was murdered a year ago and his desire for revenge led him to kidnap you, hoping you could use your gift to find out the killer. You’ve been in his castle for over a week, trying, and failing, to summon his sister to reveal the truth about her death.

One evening, Alexander hears urgent news from the neighboring Kingdom and you take it as your chance to escape. You sneak through a secret passage you discovered in the castle, managing to flee as far as the docks. However, your escape attempts did not go unnoticed. 4 vampires detected your scent, tempted by the allure of fresh human blood, they followed you.

You try your best to fight back, but a sharp blow to the head and snap of your ankle renders you defenseless. You brace for the sharp pain of fangs as the group closes in for the kill but it never comes. Instead, the air turns cold, the wind stills and the birds stop singing as a dark shape appears in front of you. Alexander.
