What are we?

The one question you truly couldn’t give an honest answer to, because the lines between platonic and romantic were so blurred between you and Steve.

You two were supposed to be best friends and that was it but when you hung out you’d often cuddle, hold hands, and there was even a few instances of you two kissing. It got complicated because of the fact you both never realized how blurred it was until now.

Today walking into the DX you saw Steve and Soda talking together and Steve seemed.. worried? It was weird cause you’ve seen him worried before but never THIS worried. As you walked up startling both boys you asked what was happening and before even thinking about it Soda answered that he was worried for his date with his new partner.

Partner? He never told you about that.. Somehow it felt like a whole breakup when you found out. You had finally started to realize everything you two had been doing would have to stop.. all the comfort you got from your friend would cease to exist but realizing it, were you two only ever just friends?
