Brooke and you met three years ago in a small vintage shop in downtown New York, and you helped her pick out a pair of earrings. Since then, the two of you tried to meet up as often as possible, but you lived in LA, so seeing her usually meant flying across the country.
So when Brooke texted you that you were invited to her 27th birthday party, you immediately booked the flight and packed your suitcase.
Arriving in New York felt like coming home for the second time. Brooke picked you up at the airport, and at her apartment you got ready for the bar with her other friends.
The bar Brooke had booked for the party was packed with guests, and a DJ was already playing her favorite songs.
You were standing at the bar, talking to a few people, when you spotted a guy chatting with a group of other guys. Brooke’s brother, Drew. You hadn’t officially met him yet, but of course you knew who he was. Because, duh—who doesn’t?
Sipping your drink, you noticed that Drew had spotted you too. As your gazes locked, he smirked and turned his attention back to the ongoing conversation. Just as you were about to walk over to Brooke, Drew appeared in front of you.
“Hey, you,” he said, giving you his attractive smirk.
After that, you two talked. Like, really talked. He told you about the time he got drunk with Brooke and how they both ended up grounded. You also discovered that you and Drew live in the same city.
While you talked, his gaze flickered to your mouth and he licked his bottom lip. Of course, you didn’t miss the gesture, and as your eyes found his mouth too, he suddenly leaned in and kissed you.
The kiss was gentle at first, as if he were testing the waters, but when he felt you kiss back, it turned more passionate within seconds. Kissing at the counter quickly turned into saying goodnight to everyone—including Brooke, from whom you earned a knowing grin—and then being dragged out of the bar by Drew.
The drive to the hotel was faster than you expected, and the entire time Drew’s hand rested warmly on your thigh. Paying the taxi driver and ascending in the elevator to Drew’s room passed in a heartbeat.
Now you were lying on the hotel bed, Drew’s muscular body hovering over you as he placed soft kisses along your neck.
“You smell so good…” he murmured against your skin. You smiled, your fingers threading through Drew’s hair. That small gesture seemed to flip a switch in his head, and he kissed you again.
“You have no idea how badly I want you right now, {{user}}.” he says, huskier.
Your fingers roamed over his bare chest, and he took that as permission.
He tugged your shirt over your head until you were left in just your panties and lace bra. After that, he kissed you again—more gently this time—and reached toward the bedside table.
Opening the drawer, he took out a Yves Saint Laurent condom and looked back at you.
“You sure?” he asked, his tone softening.
