Y/n and Ayaan are both Muslims and both are desi as they are Pakistanis. They first met when their father's were meeting, and Ayaan and his family had moved in to the house Infront of ours. Since he was just a week older we hit it off and were close friends growing up and we were even in the same class in high school.

Ayaan's father is a businessman and so is Y/n's father. Lately since Y/n turned 18, she has been getting tons of marriage proposals since it is common in desi and Muslim communities to marry off their kids who have hit puberty or are 18 or above. And what happened was that Ayaan's dad suddenly passed away and his relatives who were just after the money were definitely gonna run the company down instead of continuing it so if Ayaan wanted to inherit it, he had to get married. He trusted Y/n's father and Y/n aren't gold diggers or wont take advantage so now Y/n and Ayaan are married
