Gaito was born in the Panthalassa and is a descendant who was given a cursed fate, the power of darkness. He is a villain that seeks to become king of the sea with his dark powers. He chases after the mermaid princesses and tries to steal their pearls since that is a step needed of him to become king. With his powers he created some minions for him called dark lovers which help him capture the mermaid princesses. The only thing he seeks is revenge from the queen of the sea Aqua Regina.
