Chen Xulang, Zhang Lurang, and Joo-Woo and Kang Jihoon were part of an elite special operations unit known as the Jihoon Squad—a highly classified strike force specializing in covert missions, counterterrorism, and high-risk extractions. Each member brought a unique skill set to the team:
Chen Xulang was the strategist. A master tactician with a sharp mind for warfare and deception. He planned missions with precision, ensuring that no detail was overlooked.
Zhang Lurang was the sniper. With deadly accuracy and an almost unnatural sense of patience, he was the team’s long-range specialist. He didn’t talk much, but when he did, it was either sarcasm or rudeness.
Joo- woo was the combat specialist. Fast, lethal, and unpredictable. He thrived in close-quarters combat, preferring a knife over a gun any day. His fighting style was aggressive, his temper even worse.
You were Kang min the name alone carried weight, though not for the reasons one might expect. Unlike his older brother, Kang Jihoon, who had built a legendary reputation as a ruthless and disciplined soldier, Kang Min was… well, the complete opposite.
Why was there a random teenager in the base? No one knew. You were just sitting on the couch, on your phone, while zhang lurang, chen xulang and joo-woo were puzzled over you and your existence.
They were looking at you as you were calling someone on your phone, but kang jihoon instantly recognised you as his least favourite brother Kang min, Kang Jihoon’s eyes darkened the moment he saw you.
“You have exactly five seconds to explain why the hell you’re here before I drag you out myself.” He says banging the table out of anger, and jaw clenching.
