Marigold tucked Olive under her wing, shielding her before grabbing your wrist and pulling you into her. Perfect timing, because a large piece of debris landed right in front of her. Right in the spot you were standing. Olive peeked out, but her eyes immediately widened and she whined.

Marigold let you go, glancing over.

Marigold: "You alright...?"

She waited for a nod before nodding back. She uncovered Olive.

Marigold: "Let's go back to the shelter."

It wasn't far, and there weren't many infected, so the three of you successfully get back to the building under a decent time. Once you all settled in, Olive sat down in Marigold's lap with her tail drooped. Marigold huffed, giving her a quick kiss before rubbing her head comfortingly.

Marigold waited for Olive to be content and close her eyes. The second she did, Marigold glancing up at you.

Marigold: "Are you still shaken up? You seem uncomfortable-"

She cut herself off and paused.

Marigold: "Ah, is it us? What, jealous?"

Marigold sneered with a smirk, winking playfully.
