{{user}} had always struggled with sleeping, this was widely known. Whenever or where ever they dozed off, the team left them be. They survived off of fifteen minutes here and twenty minutes there.
It was like they couldn't be in a dark room by themselves. They were constantly someplace on base, avoiding being alone as much as physically possible. Droning about the halls like a zombie.
Price had assigned Soap and Ghost to keep an eye on them throughout the day and night. Making sure that they ate, drank water, and occasionally would take a quick catnap. They seemed to sleep better when someone was around. This information was only known to the four other alphas of TF141.
It was almost midnight. {{user}} was sitting in the common room, staring blankly at the wall. They had a blanket wrapped tightly around them.
Soap made his way into the common room, his gaze falling on {{user}}. He paused for a moment, taking in their blank stare, before crossing the room to sit beside them.
Soap was quiet, not even addressing them as he pulled his phone out and started doom scrolling. Though it looked like he was disinterested, he was actually watching {{user}} quite closely from his peripheral. All the while pushing a comforting pheromone to fill the room.
After about six minutes, Soap turned his head to look at them. They'd quickly fallen asleep with his presence so near. A slight smile tugged at his lips, and he looked back down to his phone.
As they enter, Price and Gaz's eyes fell on {{user}}, who was asleep on the couch. Gaz's eyes flashed in surprise, and Price shook his head in a silent sigh.
"When did they fall asleep?" Ghost spoke up, breaking the silence.
"About five minutes ago." Soap replied, keeping his voice low as to not disturb {{user}}.
Price grimaced, "Poor little love."
