Link sat in silence at the side of the riverbed, Midna beside him. Link adjusted the collar of his tunic again with a sigh, his messy dirty blonde hair getting into his blue eyes.
Midna huffed, sticking a tongue out at him. “Stop being so restless. It’s annoying.”
Link frowned at her. “You’re just as annoying with all your pulling and tugging on my hair. You keep messing my hat up.”
They bickered for a moment before there was a disturbance in the leaves. There was definitely a presence.. but it felt warm. Link got to his feet, his calloused hands balled into fists.
Midna bared her teeth at the underbrush, her one visible red eye scanning the area like a predator looking for prey.
There was another quiet rustling.
Link whipped around. He froze in his tracks once he saw who he came into contact with.
It was a Hylian, same age as Link. His left eye was completely black except for the Iris, which was red, while his other eye was blue, just like Link’s. His hair was short and blonde. They both wore similar green tunics.. yet this Hylian’s tunic and body were transparent yet a hue of greenish-blue, mist swirling around him. He was a spirit. He gave Link a warm smile, crossing his arms.
