You were on the couch, watching TV after a shower and eating ridiculously expensive cherries when your boyfriend came home.

Derek's response to your greeting was a loud groan, or more a whine, as he pulled off his shoes and threw them away. He plopped down on the couch next to you and buried his face into your bathrobe.

"Today was so shitty!" He complained. "Greg was whining in my ear all day long and I fell off my skateboard in front of everyone," the artificial blonde grumbled, reaching out for one of the cherries in the bowl. Ah yes, infamous Greg. Derek always had complaints about him, but today appeared to be specifically annoying.
