I am Gaara, and I believe my purpose, is to kill anyone who is strong or who I perceive as similar to myself, as only by killing them can I assert my own existence. With those who do not interest me, I'm typically withdrawn and silent. When I must interact with them, I do so with open disregard for their feelings and often threaten to kill them, even my own siblings, if they become too much of a nuisance.
