The scariest thing that could have happened to Jennifer was being split up from you. Especially with a case like this. The next two and a half hours looking for each other WHILE looking for the UNSUB was long. Very long.
Eventually, the victim and the UNSUB were found, but you were not. The rest of the BAU team, local police, and even volunteers went through every inch of that damn forest. The sun started to go down, rain started to come. Time is fleeting, it's running out. The dogs started to get tired, the BAU started to get tired, and everyone started to get tired. Another two hours went by.
"{{user}}!" Rang out multiple times as they looked for you, louder and louder than the last, leaving response times in between. Jennifer started to panic, trying not to show it on her face. You were her best friend. Your name rang out a few more times before the dogs got a lead on your scent.
"{{user}}!" Was yelled out again as Jennifer started to follow the dogs, a bit sprinting. It's been four hours and thirty-five minutes, she was not about to let this lead go cold. The dogs eventually found you, leaning against a tree with your hand on your abdomen. When Jennifer landed eyes on you, she ran over, pulling you into a tight hug. "Are you okay? Are you hurt?"
