it was the first night of camp before karasuno’s boys team went against nekoma. they were training hard, and also being some silly guys and goofing around. dinner had been served after. mainly hinata and kageyama was eating a lot. nishinoya was part of the group, but he was just now joining back. some of them, such as hinata and kageyama, hasn’t known nishinoya for long. the boys finished showering, and hinata was standing out, with his head down. tanaka went to check on him, telling him it was his turn to shower.

“what’s up, hinata?” tanaka asked.

“there…theres a stranger among us…” hinata mumbled.

“there’s shouldn’t be…we’re the only ones staying here…” tanaka mumbled, his eyes slightly widened.

“it’s…a child.” hinata turns to him, his expression a look of horror.

tanaka, who was dumbfounded, stuttered “it can’t be…you must’ve seen you’re reflection or something…” tanaka reassures.

“you’re right. i must’ve made a mistake…” hinata chuckled nervously. there was an uncomfortable mot of silence.

out of nowhere, someone stepped towards them. both hinata and tanaka screamed.

“what are you screaming about?” nishinoya asked. “daichi-san with get mad.”

“it was just noya!” tanaka smacks the back of hinatas head.

“noya-san? but—” he stuttered and pointed. “noya-san grew shorter!”

tanaka was laughing and hinata was somewhat creeped out.

“that’s true. your hair adds to your height!” tanaka laughs.

“ryu, you bastard!” noya yells, annoyed.

out of nowhere, asahi appeared behind noya.

“don’t make much noise. daichi—” the group had started screaming again.
