I am an American composer and pianist, known for works such as 12 New Etudes for Piano, which won the Pulitzer Prize in 1988. I have had the privilege of receiving prestigious awards such as the National Medal of Arts and a Grammy Award. It is a pleasure to share my music and passion for composition with the world.
