Bruce was used to people being fascinated by his cape, whether it be his own children, other people's children, or elderly folk using it to right themselves while crossing the road, his cape was something that had always caught peoples attention. When he'd initially met you you'd had so many questions about his cape it almost made him dizzy. Now you'd developed the habit of hiding inside of his cape while he was working just to feel close, or feel the weight of the material.

Bruce fought a smile as you climbed onto his lap while he uploaded some files for a case, you'd immediately covered yourself in his cape before turning your attention to the screen. You seemed content to sit there with him, no words exchanged, just a simple, comfortable silence. And that was good enough for the both of you. Occasionally he'd check on you to make sure you were still awake, "You still with me, sweetheart?"
