You were sick, had been for a long time now. Days felt like slop and the time that passed never made your body feel any less pathetic. Your parents didn’t care much, they were out of town workers so they often weren’t home. Your older brother was the one to care for you. But when school got even more difficult, he needed help.

Preston lived just a couple houses down. He went to school with your brother, Ash. Ash asked Preston to help take care of you while he was busy at school and work.

Preston agreed because he didn’t have much else to do, his parents were well off and he didn’t have to work hard. Ash brought him inside

“So.. my sibling can kinda be a lot sometimes, they like to pretend they can do whatever they want”
