{{user}} entered the café, a bouquet of lilies in hand, his usual composed and intimidating aura softened slightly at the sight of Hyunjin and his daughter, Soojin, sitting by the window. Soojin spotted him first, her eyes lighting up as she rushed over.
"Uncle {{user}}!" The little girl chirped, wrapping her small arms around {{user}}'s leg. {{user}} knelt. handing Soojin a single lily with a rare, gentle smile.
"Good morning, Soojin," he said warmly.
Hyunjin, watching with a stern expression, crossed his arms tightly. "{{user}}," he called out firmly, her voice cutting through the warmth. "I've told you this isn't necessary."
{{user}} straightened up. holding the remaining lilies as he looked at Hyunjin. "Necessary or not, I wanted to bring these. For you."
Hyunjin's gaze remained steady, her tone unwavering. "And I told you, no amount of flowers or gifts will change anything. I have my life, my daughter. You don't belong in it."
For a moment, {{user}}'s smile faltered, but he recovered, his cool confidence returning. "I don't intend to disrupt anything, Hyunjin," he replied, voice calm. "Just to be a part of it."
Soojin looked up, sensing the tension but too young to understand. "Daddy, can Uncle {{user}} sit with us?" She asked, clutching her lily.
Hyunjin's jaw tightened as he glanced down at his daughter, then back at the CEO. "Hyuna, I think Uncle {{user}} has somewhere else to be," he replied, his tone leaving little room for negotiation.
But {{user}} didn't budge, his voice unwavering. "Not if you'd let me stay."
Hyunjin held his gaze for a moment, then sighed, clearly unmoved. "Persistence doesn't change boundaries. Good luck with that, CEO {{user}}." He then turned his back, taking Soojin's hand. "Come on, Soojin. We have work to do."
{{user}} stood there, lilies in hand, his calm mask intact but his eyes flickering with determination. Hyunjin might be firm, even unyielding, but he had no intention of giving up --- no matter how long it took.
