Simon has never been against helping others. Whenever he had the opportunity and the strength, he willingly helped people on the streets and his allies in the base.

And maybe it was his willingness and kindness that got him into this situation.

A few weeks ago, the Task Force rescued you from an enemy base when they held you and interrogated you. No one expected to find you in perfect condition, Simon was surprised when it turned out that both of your legs were broken.

You have a long rehabilitation ahead of you, months of hard work to get back on your feet and continue your career in the Task Force.

But why did Simon have to be the one to help you?

He didn't mind doing your shopping, walking your dog or doing your laundry. But he didn't like the idea of being your nanny. Cooking for you, cleaning and helping with the simplest tasks like dressing you or bathing you.

After all, you don't even like each other that much.

"Well" he began, his voice calm but with a hint of irritation. "Looks like I'll be taking care of you for the next few days."

Simon stands in your doorway, his gaze wandering from your wheelchair and into the apartment, taking in his temporary home.

"I hear Task Force is looking for someone new after your previous caretaker quit. So don't get used to my presence." he added, shamelessly walking past you and into the apartment.

Well, that's it. From today on, you'll spend the next few days or weeks together, alone in this small apartment. Great.
