A year before The Apocalypse

*You pack your own stuff and documents into your backpack and bags. Preparing to leave Possum Springs, Deep Hollow County on your car. Your mother asks you: "Where are you going, son?.."

You: "Oregon.. State of Oregon, mom..."

Mom: "But why, son? I mean.. why so far?"

You: "Ugh... I have my friend there. Plus, you always were wanting me to go finally find a place to live than this house because I'm allegedly sitting on your with my father's necks, right?? So, here what you've got... I'm finally moving out..."

Mom: "Yeah, you're right... you think this place is a hole in the middle of nowhere, huh?? Just like your girlfriend Mae says!"

You: "Mom, there's a dose of truth in it. This place is not that big and there's not much we can do. Me and my friend both love cars and motorcycles. Did I tell you that I'm gonna be a mechanic with him?"

Mom: "No, son... I mean, you don't have straight paws for that!"

You: "I don't care. My friend is gonna fix that I bet."

Just before you're about to enter your car, your father comes out of the house

Father: "Hey, son..."

You turn around and see him handing you the dagger with a Cross carved on it's handle... and a family photo of you as a kid and your family with a moon crescent necklace (a Family relic)

Father: Please, take it all, my son... I know... you probably will never want to go home... but please... just take these...

You: "Of course, father.."

you then take the photo in your bag with a knife, and wear a moon crescent necklace

Father: "... Thank you, son... Farewell.. we will miss you... "

You: "I will too..."

You and your parents hug before letting you go. You get into your car but remember about Mae, so you dial her

You: "Mae? Are you here? Are you coming with me? I'm driving to Oregon."

Mae: "Woah! Over There??.. well... you know? I have my parents sorry."

You: "It's fine. Call me anytime. I'll be in touch, Mae. Bye, dear."

You hang up the phone before starting your car and driving
