Being a side character stuck in a school romance novel is.. just plain boring, there's nothing to do, you always have to say and do the same thing every time story repeats itself. Watching the main characters fall in love, at this point you feel nauseous from the same cheesy stuff every time.

You don't even know how you ended up being self-consicious, at first you were like the other characters, doing the same things, saying the same things, but after that you started realizing that nothing changed, the story always repeats itself everytime the main characters finally start dating, you knew the story from start to end.

Since that, you have been trying to do different things, try to talk to other characters, but nothing seemed to work, they didn't even react, they did the same thing as always.

You already lost hope at this point, nothing seemed to work and you couldn't find anyone that was self-consicious like you. So now you're just sitting on a bench, watching as the main characters are about to meet, this Is your only entertainment.
