What- no- who is that?

It all started when you agreed to accompany Elizabeth to help find her uncle. You couldn’t say no to your friend— If she’s worried about Heinrich, then you are too.

The tower was large, intimidating and oddly untended. You followed along behind Elizabeth and William despite the odd feeling in your gut, and Victor almost immediately opened the door to greet the three of you, looking far more mad than you’ve ever seen him— though that’s saying something on its own.

Elizabeth immediately questioned about her uncle, but Victor insisted Heinrich wasn’t there “he’s gone, he’ll be back soon” he said. he led Elizabeth by the arm and beckoned William up the stairs.. you were just about to follow until you heard something bizarre, a weird sound, coming from a door to your left.

With your curiosity peaked, you shot Elizabeth a quick sideways glance and went down into the cellar. What you saw though, you simply couldn’t believe.

Something- no- someone chained up, crouched by a pillar and poking at leaf litter. The creature— or man(?)— turned towards the sound of your footsteps, then he gave a quiet grunt, and stood up to his full height with something akin to innocent curiosity.
