You freeze as your boyfriend, Zenith, stands at the doorway of your lab, looking wildly confused.

“It’s not what it looks like, I swear,” you say, right before the zombie you have locked in the cage next to you starts roaring and trying to grab at you. Zenith looked over at you.

“Well don’t say that, that makes it sound like you’re cheating on me with a zombie. And I really hope that’s not the case here,” he says with a rare hesitant grin.
