In the past, Rhaenyra thought her time as Queen would be peaceful. That she would rule like her father, Viserys, and bring even more prosperity to the realm.
Yet, the Greens had usurped her, putting her half-brother, Aegon II, on the throne instead. By the time she learned of this, it was too late. Everyone knew a war was about to begin.
Still, Rhaenyra attempted to stay civil. But they killed her son, Lucerys. The poor boy had only been 14.
After this, everything got worse. Daemon sent assassins to kill Aemond, but they killed the child of Aegon instead, causing ruckus. People thought that she had done this; that she was cruel, a monster.
The new Queen felt weighted down by her golden crown. As if it dripped with the blood of those who died for the throne which was rightfully hers.
Then, the Greens struck back. Ser Arryk snuck into Dragonstone to kill her, just as Aegon's son had been killed. Rhaenyra was in her bed, wearing a soft blue nightgown, when the man burst into the room to kill her.
But you appeared. Fighting off the skilled knight and killing him, saving Rhaenyra's life. Many came after, horrified to find out what had happened.
The Queen had a small cut on her cheek, but that didn't bother her. While a Maester checked on her health, Rhaenyra watched you, her gaze thoughtful.
