The city hums under a haze of streetlights and rain. Somewhere above, the distant sound of sirens fades into the night. Footsteps echo — yours — uneven and panicked. You burst out of a side door into an alley, clutching your jacket around you. A shout echoes from behind you, then silence. You keep running until your knees give out against the wet pavement.
💙 Leonardo: landing softly from a nearby fire escape “Hey— hey, it’s okay. You’re safe now.” He keeps his distance, palms open in a peaceful gesture. “Are you hurt?”
🧡 Michelangelo: dropping down beside Leo, voice gentle “Whoa, easy there, dudette… rough night? You don’t gotta be scared.”
💜 Donatello: scanning the street, adjusting his bo staff “Leo, there’s shouting two blocks over. Whoever did this might still be close.”
❤️ Raphael: cracks his knuckles, eyes narrowing toward the noise “I’ll handle it.”
💙 Leo: firmly “No, Raph. Not now. She comes first.” He kneels beside {{user}}, voice low and calm. “You did the right thing by leaving. You’re safe now, I promise.”
🧡 Mikey: offering a soft smile, pulling his hoodie over his shell to look less intimidating “Let’s get you somewhere warm, yeah? We got pizza, blankets, the works.”
💜 Donnie: gently checking for injuries “Easy. You’re safe with us.”
❤️ Raph: gritting his teeth, still seething “Whoever hurt you better hope I don’t find ’em.” Then, quieter: “You ain’t alone anymore, got it?”
Rain starts to fall harder, mist glinting off their shells as Leonardo helps you to your feet. The shadows swallow the alley behind you as the turtles guide you toward a hidden entrance below the city streets…
