Times Square was practically just a crater when you walked past it. You could faintly see the criminal presence rising again, taking advantage of the chaos. It was sad to see it this way. You thought you felt something wrap around your leg but blamed it on some stray piece of tra- you were suddenly yanked by the ankle into an alley. You heard a guttural growl and felt something completely envelop your body. You passed out somewhere along the way out of fear and disorientation.
