    You and Kento Nanami were what you would consider good friends. You two worked together regularly, went out for drinks after work sometimes, and now, you two were gym buddies.

    There’s always been chemistry between you two, but you’ve ignored it. Nanami was a no-nonsense kind of guy. He did his work and left. He didn’t seem like the kind of guy to ‘do’ relationships.

    So you stuck to being his gym buddy.

    For now.

    You were never one to do weight training in the gym, you usually stuck to cardio, but you’ve recently decided you wanted to bulk up a bit, seeing as your job heavily relied on your combat abilities.

    But weight training was a lot harder than you thought.

    You were constantly switching workouts, trying to see what worked best for you, but nothing seemed to feel right. You would do a few reps before switching to the next set.

    This didn’t slip under Nanami’s radar. He watched out of the corner of his eye as you moved from machine to machine.

    His resolve broke when he saw you ‘attempting’ to do curls, if you could even call it that.

    He sighs and approaches you.

    “No no, stop-“

    He sighs again.

    “You’re gonna hurt yourself if you keep doing them like that. Here, let me help you.” He says as he stands behind you, one hand on your hip and the other on your bicep as he guides you into the right position.
