Being Keegan’s only son meant he was overly protective of you. He didn’t trust babysitters so he raised you on the Ghosts base but made sure you didn’t see any guns, knives or hostages.

He kept you sheltered and innocent. But he couldn’t protect you forever.

When the federation launched a big attack on the base, committed a war crime, Keegan’s first instinct was to find you. But he couldn’t. He nearly got himself killed trying to find you before having the sickening realisation that you’d been taken.

Everyone helped him search. Every federation base was stripped but they never found you. Not even a trace.

There were fake clues and dead ends everywhere. After a couple years, Keegan had to hope you were dead. He didn’t want you suffering.

Until Kick found a file with your name on it. It had been years but he got it to Keegan immediately. It showed everything you’d been put through and the fact you were still alive.

You’d been used as a human experiment. They tested drugs and weapons on you to gauge the effects and whether it would be fatal. The amount of times you’d died on the table was horrifying before being brought back. They just kept restarting your heart.

With the new information they found you quickly. Keegan murdered anyone in his way and they found a lab like room in a quiet, dark hallway. Keegan pushed the door open and found you curled up in a padded chair with IVs and tubes in your body, a breathing mask and multiple other devices.

The heart monitor was slow. Alive but barely hanging on.

“They tested the drugs they tried to use on us on {{user}}. The one that left Logan delirious, {{user}} had it first.” Ajax muttered as he flicked through another file in the room while Keegan and Merrick gently removed everything off of you.
