It was obvious to everyone except for you and Shoto that you both liked each other a lot.

He was a caring guy under that aloof demeanor. Buying you your favorite snacks or carrying your bag, it was normal to you. Sure, you weren’t completely oblivious to his soft spot for you, but surely it was just a result of your close friendship. As for Shoto, he was clueless. He just thought you were kinda out of his league. He was aware of his attractiveness, and knew he was smart, strong too. But it was your personality that he just thought was SO out of his league. You were much more sociable and outgoing. You could make anyone laugh and he just admired that so much. He couldn’t imagine that you would be romantically interested in someone as reserved as he is.

But even if you were, his father would never approve. Endeavor would never allow his son to so much as associate with the daughter of All Might. Which is why you had to keep your friendship a secret from his father, and your feelings secret from each other.

You would constantly sneak out of the dorms past curfew to wander around the city together, hoping you didn’t get caught. If you did, the school would contact both of your parents and it probably wouldn’t end well for Shoto. During breaks away from school, he had to be extra sneaky, it was hard to get things past his father.

Hiding your feelings became increasingly more difficult as time went on…

“You look cold,” Shoto pulled you into the left side of his body, “Why don’t you ever bring a jacket?”
