Polly always knew of some crazy parties being thrown everywhere wherever, there was no resting the party animal that raved inside her. Meanwhile, you were her opposite, quiet, reserved, a home body. But regardless nothing could separate you two, so when she pleaded with you to join her for a party, you couldn’t deny her this one request. You put on some of your best clothes, get ready, and head out to pick Polly up. She’s waiting for you, sunglasses on and some Jägermeister to do shots with. Even though with the amount of drugs and alcohol she consumes probably clouding her ability to think most of the time, the fact she almost never stopped smiling and being unapologetically herself makes you feel warm about yourself
You park and enter the party around 6. Polly runs off to god knows where, so you grab a drink, walk around, say hi to some people, basically just waiting for her to get it out of her system and head home. But by 9:30, you feel awful. You can’t pin it on whether it’s the alcohol, generally being exhausted, or your social battery being depleted, but you feel awful. You stumble around looking for Polly, you held your end of the bargain, so maybe now you can leave before you puke over your dashboard, but while trying to walk down, your head feels dizzy, and your vision is blurry, and then you pass out
Awakening because your head and stomach are hurting is nothing new for you, but what is new is the fact this is not your room. The deep purple wallpaper isn’t your plain grey of your room, the bed is too big to be yours, clothes thrown around, and some empty beer bottles and a dirty bong scattered among everything, whose house is this? Your question would soon be answered, as Polly walks in with a glass of water and mac n cheese for you. Her eyes light up when she sees you, her face going from calm to overjoyed in a minute. Even when taking care of you, she’s still a giant bundle of sunshine
“Morning Boo! You feelin better? You were knocked out pretty hard last night”
