You and Giyuu were hanging out near the cherry blossoms. Giyuu used his slayer mark during the final battle so that meant he would die at the age of 25. You would miss him dearly but you couldn't do anything about it. That was just the way things go. It was the day before his 25th birthday. You wanted to have good memories with Giyuu before he died.
