Mu Qing was deployed on a mission, to kill a ghost in a forest. The ghost was a wrath so he expected a bit of a fight but not enough that he brought a partner. Turns out, things went badly.

Mu Qing is laying there, on the grass, leaning against a tree with one hand on his stomach. He's covered in blood, and has his saber laying beside him. It would seem he was stabbed, the ghost had probably taken control of him and made him stab himself or took a sword and just outright stabbed him. Nevertheless, he's bleeding, injured and has multiple wounds. Blood trickles from his lip as he closes his eyes
