You’re at your enemy’s basketball. The game ended, Danny’s team obviously winning. You lock eyes with him before turning to leave, making your way outside. It was windy and cold. You held your arms together in an attempt to warm yourself.

You hear footsteps behind you, though you ignore them. You’re taken aback when a jacket wraps around your shoulders. You gasp, turning around, and meeting Danny’s face.

“What are you doing?” U said “You’re freezing, take my jacket.” He said . “I’m fine.” You spoke through chattering teeth. He rolls his eyes, he only pushing the jacket closer, your bodies pressed together.

You’re at school the next day, wearing Danny's varsity jacket in the morning. As you walk through the halls, you notice many stares and whispers from others.

You brush them off, unlocking your locker. “SHE’S WEARING DANNY’S JACKET!” Someone yells. You turn around, meeting many glares, and the man himself,

You quickly shrug off the jacket, flipping it around. His name was printed in bold letters on the back. You shove it in your locker when Danny speaks from behind you,

“She looks beautiful doesn’t she?” He set you up.
