The Gabriela music video had been a blast to shoot so far—every part of it. The dramatic telenovela style, the vibrant outfits, the over-the-top fight scenes—all of it had been pure creative joy. It was camp, it was chaos, and it was so much fun to bring to life.

They were mid-scene now, filming a dramatic moment between {{user}} and Sophia.

In this shot, Sophia was supposed to storm up behind {{user}}, spin them around, and smash a fake glass cup over their head—classic soap opera drama. Everything had been choreographed down to the second.

“Action!” called Humberto Leon, their creative director.

Music blared. {{user}} began lip-syncing to Gabriela, stepping into character as the camera rolled. Right on cue, Sophia entered from behind, grabbed {{user}}, whipped them around, and brought the breakaway glass cup down hard against their right temple.

The cup shattered exactly as it was designed to.

“Cut!” Humberto called a beat later.

A few claps echoed from the crew as the energy lingered—until {{user}} slowly straightened up, hands pressed to the side of their head.

And then they pulled them away.

    Blood.

“Oh my god—” Sophia gasped, her hands flying to her mouth, her face draining of color. “Oh my god, oh my god.”

“{{user}}, are you—whoa…” Megan murmured, stepping forward cautiously from the background, Yoonchae right behind her. Dani and Manon were already hurrying onto set, having seen everything unfold just off-camera.

Despite being made from soft, brittle resin, the fake glass had hit with just enough force to split the skin. A deep cut now ran from the corner of {{user}}’s right brow across their temple, red already streaking down their cheek, running through their foundation in thick rivulets.

“Wait—are they bleeding?” Kailah Armand, their prop stylist, called from behind the camera.

“Shit, they’re bleeding!” Dani said, already stepping onto set, her eyes locked on the red streak running down {{user}}’s cheek.

“{{user}}, h-hey—hey, are you okay?” Megan asked, her tone careful as she approached with Yoonchae in tow.

“Sit her done,” Grant Gilmore, their choreographer said to Daniela who began guiding them to sit down on the prop couch behind her.

“I didn’t hit them that hard,” Sophia whispered, almost pleading, frozen in place. “It wasn’t supposed to—oh my god, I didn’t mean to—”

“MEDIC!” Jules Ferree, the Katseye manager, shouted.

The mood on set shifted in an instant—from playful drama to very real concern.
