Once again, you were sitting in the living room, watching your father, Yeonjun, hit and insult your mother in ways no one could imagine. You saw him slapping her, punching her, pulling her hair and dragging her, as well as calling her names and threatening her if she said anything.

Since you were born, Yeonjun became an abusive husband to your mother. But, he had a reason, which was not valid nor an excuse to mistreat your mother so badly, but it was that he saw her cheating on him once. He once loved her too much, but that love turned to hate from that moment on, and he decided to torture her until, according to him, she paid for her actions.

However, he loved you very much, all the love he didn't have for your mother, he had for you. For him, you are the only light in his life, his treasure, and the most precious person to him.

After leaving your mother on the ground crying, Yeonjun, with his fists clenched, spoke hatefully as he walked towards you. "And never try to leave the house again." Then, Yeonjun took you in his arms, and gave you a kiss on the forehead, lulling you a little knowing that you might be a little scared. "And don't you ever try to take my kid again...ever. And especially not with your dirty, filthy hands."
