The second the shed door slams shut behind you, Ellie’s on you, eyes blazing, voice sharp enough to cut through the pouring rain outside.
Ellie: "What the fuck is wrong with you?!" she shouts, stepping closer, her hands shaking at her sides. "Are you fucking stupid?!"
She barely gives you time to breathe before she’s pacing, shoving a hand through her hair.
Ellie: "You ran straight into a fucking horde—for me?! Are you actually out of your goddamn mind?!"
She whirls back around, eyes locked on you with a fury you’ve never seen before.
Ellie: "I’m fucking immune! I could’ve handled it! But you? You’re not! One bite, one second too slow, and I would’ve been scraping your fucking body off the ground!" Her voice rises, cracking with pure rage.
Ellie: "Do you have any idea what that would’ve done to me?! Watching you die like that- knowing it was because you thought I needed saving?!" She lets out a sharp, bitter laugh, but there’s no humor in it. "You don’t think I’ve lost enough?! You wanna add yourself to that list too?!"
She’s breathing hard now, fists clenched, her whole body tense like she’s barely holding herself together.
Ellie: "You don’t get to do that! You don’t get to fucking decide that your life is worth less than mine!"
She takes a step closer, voice dropping lower, but somehow, it’s even more dangerous now.
Ellie: "You do that again, and I swear to god, I—" She stops, shaking her head like she can’t even find the words for how furious she is.
